T/N: Yumehito has explained the significance of the lyrics and PV on his blog, so I won't elaborate on it; check here for the translation if you haven't already seen it. He didn't talk about every line in detail, though, because he wants to leave the meaning open to interpretation for now.

Also, this song actually made it into the single by chance - during the song-selection session, after all the songs had been presented and they were having trouble deciding on a third song for the single, Yume took out his iPhone and announced, "I've got a great song here~" and played Marble right there and then. He had actually composed this a long time ago (when 彩冷える went major), but during all the past selection sessions, this song was never picked to be included in any of the releases even though he put it up for selection again and again. This time he had presented the song as a joke, hoping to get a laugh out of everyone and perhaps tell him "Oh look it's that Marble song again", but to his surprise, the president of Toy's Factory told him "Sure, why not? Let's use this song then" on the spot.

T/N: It's pretty obvious from the lyrics that Ryuusei is a summer release - fireworks by the river, yukata, and the end of the rainy season are all images that are commonly associated with summer in Japan. The PV itself is also supposed to have a very traditional Japanese feel, with various motifs like the lotus flower being incorporated into the scenes, and also an adaptation of the kirikane technique through CG. The lotus flower motif used in the PV is based off the one that was used in images made for Nara's 1300-year anniversary as the former capital of Japan.
Also, I've been doing it for a while now but I realise that I've never really mentioned it before - the various member icons that I use for each translation post is supposed to indicate the member that was the main composer for that song. Hope it saves some search time in case anyone ever wants to check up the composers~

Just a quick post to let you guys know that since darkness_parade is up and the DEATHBIE lyrics have already been translated, I won't be posting any DEATHBIE lyrics here!

Also, I know that translations for Dramatic were requested quite a while back but I've only gotten the title track up so far. Really sorry about this! If anyone is still interested, I promise I haven't forgotten about it, so please bear with me a little longer and I will try to work on it soon! Thank you to everyone for supporting the translations :)
